BMW has partnered with Paramount+ to bring a range of entertainment options directly to its vehicles, enhancing the in-car experience for BMW and MINI drivers. Starting now, owners of current models with BMW or MINI Operating System 9 can stream a wide selection of movies, series and new originals from Paramount+ on their car’s control display while the vehicle is stationary.
This collaboration allows customers to enjoy premium content during charging stops or breaks on long journeys. For safety, streaming is automatically disabled once the vehicle is in motion. Paramount+ is available as part of the BMW Digital Premium and MINI Connected Package and is launching in Austria, France, Germany, Italy, the UK, the USA and Switzerland.
Subscribers can access hit shows like Star Trek: Discovery, high-stakes dramas like Tulsa King, and next-gen franchises including Knuckles and Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In addition to a rich library of on-demand content, the streaming service also features live sports and breaking news.
The service is available through the Video App (DTS AutoStage Video Service Powered by TiVo) integrated into BMW and MINI’s latest infotainment systems, which also offers access to other streaming platforms like Pluto TV, Bloomberg, TED, Yahoo!, and Chili, among others.
