This year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade brought back the tradition in full force with a display of massive colorful floats. It felt like a pre-COVID Thanksgiving celebration as live spectators lined the city streets once more.
One float, in particular, melted the hearts of Americans. Not only did the Blue’s Clues float feature a large float version of the blue animated puppy, but it celebrated 25 years of the Nickelodeon kids show by featuring the entire lineage of hosts — Steve, Joe, and Josh. Fans were already quite emotional when Steve Burns made a return for the anniversary video, but seeing all three hosts together singing along for Thanksgiving Day was a different level of nostalgia.
Fans quickly took to Twitter to express just how big a deal this was, even going as far as to say that the Blue’s Clues reunion was more eventful than Tom, Tobey and Andrew appearing on Spider-Man: No Way Home.
