BLACKPINK’s Jennie Teases Potential The Weeknd Collab for ‘The Idol’

BLACKPINK's Jennie Teases Potential The Weeknd Collab for 'The Idol'

Earlier this week, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie and Calvin Klein held a launch event for the recently unveiled Jennie for Calvin Klein capsule collection. Held at Scene Seoul in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, South Korea, the space was reimagined to express the colors of the special range with a large-scale conceptual light art installation by Japanese artist Yoshirotten.

Drawing a massive crowd, Jennie officially introduced the special range to the world and interacted with both media and guests in attendance. An interesting moment came when Jennie and her close friends DJ duo Simi and Haze Khadra took to the DJ deck and played music in an exciting performance. Fans quickly noticed that a song played sounded a lot like a collaboration between Jennie and The Weeknd.

A clip of the moment now spreading on social media has fuelled rumors that Jennie and The Weeknd have a collaborative track ready for the upcoming HBO show The Idol. Adding to the rumors, Jennie and the sisters reposted the video in an Instagram Story and tagged The Weeknd and the official Instagram page for The Idol. Seemingly confirming the collaboration, the track would join the recently released lead single “Double Fantasy” from The Weeknd and Future.

Take a look at the clip that potentially teases Jennie’s collaboration with The Weeknd for The Idol below.
