After releasing in theaters on November 11, 2022, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has now received its streaming debut date on Disney+.
The highly acclaimed sequel is set to land on the platform on Wednesday, February 1, which is also the first day of Black History Month. Upon its release, the film topped the domestic box office for several consecutive weeks and has now grossed over $820 million USD globally. The impressive numbers are complimented by the movie’s $250 million USD budget.
To celebrate the film making its way to Disney’s streaming service, Proximity Media, Marvel Studios and Marvel Entertainment released “Wakanda Forever: The Official Black Panther Podcast.” The six-episode podcast chronicles the film’s creation journey with the first episode available now on Apple Podcasts, Proximity Media and other major platforms. The remaining episodes are set to be released weekly beginning on January 18.
