On-set videos taken by Liam Crowley of The Direct are teasing a huge car chase sequence for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
Crowley shared the videos on social media which supposedly reveal the stunt double of Letitia Wright, who portrays Shuri, on a dirt bike and the stunt double for Danai Gurira, who portrays Okoye, in a muscle car. The pair are reportedly chasing a gray van, with Crowley adding, “The muscle car and dirt bike follow a motorcycle as they loop around for another shot.”
In late August, Wright was injured while working on a stunt rig in Boston but the unspecified injuries were supposedly minor. “Letitia Wright sustained minor injuries today while filming a stunt for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” a Marvel spokesperson revealed. “She is currently receiving care in a local hospital and is expected to be released soon.”
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hits theaters July 8, 2022.
