Over at this year’s DC FanDome event, Dwayne Johnson has offered a first look at his upcoming Black Adam film with a teaser showing the anti-hero’s first entrance into our world, giving fans a glimpse at the immense power the character wields and his hate-filled origins.
Aside from the reveal of Black Adam himself, the four-minute clip also showcases a series of actors who’ll be portraying some of the other heroes in the Justice Society in the upcoming film, including Pierce Brosnan as Doctor Fate, Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone and Sarah Shahi as Adrianna Tomaz. Joining them will be Marwan Kenzari, James Cusati-Moyer, Bodhi Sabongui and the movie’s director Jaume Collet-Serra, whose previous works include Jungle Cruise, Run All Night and Orphan.
For fans of the DCEU and Dwayne Johnson, Black Adam will hit theaters July 29, 2022.
Elsewhere in entertainment, Marvel and Disney have also dropped a new Hawkeye trailer.
