Billie Eilish fans in New York and Los Angeles will have the opportunity to hear Hit Me Hard and Soft before the rest of the world. The singer has announced that she’ll be previewing the album at back-to-back listening events in the two cities.
Hosted by Live Nation in partnership with American Express, the New York event will go down on Thursday, May 16 at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center with support from YouTube Music, while the Los Angeles event is set for Friday, May 17 — which is the same day the album drops — at the KIA Forum with support from Snapchat.
Attending the event is free and each person can request up to two tickets. Requests have to be submitted by May 7 at 9 a.m. PT and confirmations will be sent out on May 10.
Hit Me Hard and Soft will mark Eilish’s third studio album following 2021’s Happier Than Ever. A global tour in support of the LP is slated to kick off in late September.
