Big Sean is commemorating 10 years of his DETROIT mixtape with a special expanded edition.
The re-release features all of the original and bonus tracks but one — “Do What I Gotta Do” featuring Tyga. The celebratory edition does include, however, a brand new bonus track entitled “More Thoughts” and an exclusive, limited-edition CD available on the Def Jam store.
Sean Don originally dropped DETROIT for free in between his debut studio album Finally Famous and its followup Hall of Fame. It featured high-profile guest appearances from J. Cole, Juicy J, King Chip, French Montana, Royce da 5’9”, Kendrick Lamar, Tyga, Common, Young Jeezy Snoop Lion/Snoop Dogg, Wale, Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown, Jhené Aiko, James Fauntleroy and Mike Posner, along with production work from Hit-Boy, Da Internz, Lex Luger, Southside and KeY Wane. He released its followup, DETROIT 2, in September 2020 as a studio album.
Stream DETROIT on Spotify and Apple Music.
In other music news, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj and Freddie Gibbs lead the week’s Best New Tracks.
