OutKast’s Big Boi and Organized Noise’s Sleepy Brown announced a new collaborative album titled The Big Sleepover, out September 3.
In anticipation of the new album, the duo released a new single titled “The Big Sleep is Over,” which takes inspiration from dancehall and features Jamaican vocalist Kay-I. In the colorful animated visuals for the new song, Big Boi is shrunk down and parties with bugs who live in a marijuana field.
Big Boi reunited with longtime collaborator Sleepy Brown last year to release a video for their song “Can’t Sleep,” and prior to that, the duo released singles “Doin’ It” and “Return of the Dope Boi.”
The artists have announced a fall tour beginning with their headlining set at the MLS All-Star Game in Los Angeles on August 24th.
In other Big Boi news, the rapper recently listed the legendary Dungeon Family House on Airbnb, the Atlanta property famous for being the place where OutKast created their early albums.
