Beyoncé has set another record with her ongoing RENAISSANCE world tour.
As per Chart Data, Bey’s current engagement has grossed more than $461 million USD as of writing — surpassing Madonna’s 2008 to 2009 Sticky & Sweet Tour, which grossed $411 million USD. Numbers for the RENAISSANCE tour could still increase as the artist still has shows in Inglewood, Vancouver, Seattle, Arlington, Houston, New Orleans and Kansas City until the start of October.
Earlier this May, Forbes estimated that Beyoncé could earn more than $2 billion USD from the tour as per the “optimistic” assumptions of the number of fans buying tickets, the high average ticket price of $700 USD and the artist’s “considerable share” of merchandise proceeds.
