Beyoncé Has Now Tied JAY-Z for Most Grammy Nominations

It comes as no surprise that Beyoncé is a powerhouse in the music industry and that her influence continues to make a mark in history. Cementing her place as one of the most successful artists in the world, The Recording Academy has nominated Beyoncé for nine separate awards at the 2023 Grammys.

While being nominated for a Grammy is already a major achievement, the nine nominations lands her with 88 career nominations, tying her husband and legendary rapper JAY-Z for the most ever. For her latest album Renaissance, Beyoncé is up for Record Of The Year (“Break My Soul”), Best R&B Song (“Cuff It”), Best Traditional R&B Performance (“Plastic Off The Sofa”), Best R&B Performance (“Virgo’s Groove”), Best Song Written For Visual Media (“Be Alive” from King Richard), Song Of The Year (“Break My Soul”), Best Dance Recording (“Break My Soul”), as well as, Best Dance/Electronic Album and Album Of The Year.

Currently, Beyoncé has won 28 Grammys in total. If she wins four more, she will become the highest-awarded artist of all tie. This year’s Record of the Year nomination is her eighth in the category, which sees her becoming the most nominated artist here.

The 2023 Grammys will take place on February 5 at 8:00 p.m. EST.

In other music news, Rolling Loud California has announced its lineup.
