Beyoncé and JAY-Z Joint Album Reportedly in the Works for ‘RENAISSANCE’ Trilogy

Beyoncé and JAY-Z Joint Album Reportedly in the Works for ‘RENAISSANCE’ Trilogy

Beyoncé and JAY-Z are reportedly teaming up for their next joint album sooner than expected. The project is slated to arrive as a part of Queen Bey’s three-part RENAISSANCE series.

New York Times‘ pop culture reporter Kyle Buchanan has recently tweeted that Beyoncé is currently planning a full-length collaborative album with her hip-hop icon husband, adding just one more major feat to their accomplishments. Just last week, Beyoncé tied Hov for the most Grammy nominations. The join project is set to be the final installment in her RENAISSANCE trilogy. Buchanan also stated that the second part of the series will be an acoustic project. He wrote, “Before Twitter goes down, instead of making you follow me somewhere else, I’ll just tell you what I’ve heard about the other 2 acts of Beyonce’s 3-part ‘Renaissance’ project. (2nd act is an acoustic album, 3rd act is a collaboration with Jay-Z).”

When Beyoncé released he album back in July, she took to Instagram to express that the project is only “act i.” She also wrote on her website,

“This three act project was recorded over three years during the pandemic. A time to be still, but also a time I found to be the most creative. Creating this album allowed me a place to dream and to find escape during a scary time for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous in a time when little else was moving. My intention was to create a safe place, a place without judgment. A place to be free of perfectionism and overthinking. A place to scream, release, feel freedom. It was a beautiful journey of exploration.”

There is no word on when the joint album will release.

In case you missed it, Rich Brian and $NOT hit the range in “VIVID” music video.
