As the week in music comes to a close, Hypebeast has rounded up the best projects for the latest installment of Best New Tracks.

This week’s lineup is led by albums from Charli XCX and Rich the Kid x Famous Dex x Jay Critch and singles from J. Cole, Skepta x Flo Milli, EARTHGANG x T-Pain x Spillage Village, Cordae, Ab-Soul, Flying Lotus, Bruiser Wolf x Zack Fox and The Kid LAROI.

J. Cole – “Port Antonio”

J. Cole laid it all out on the table in “Port Antonio.” The first solo single from Cole since Might Delete Later, “Port Antonio” sees Cole pick back up right where he left off, making his stance on the rap beef clearer than ever before. The track has not yet made its way over to streaming services yet.

Charli XCX – Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat

BRAT season is never over. Charli XCX’s remix album of her acclaimed BRAT LP has officially dropped, which sees a remixed edition of each of the original album’s 16 tracks. The BRAT queen curates a star-studded crew of contributors to take the album to the next level, including Caroline Polachek, Ariana Grande, Bladee and Bon Iver.

Skepta x Flo Milli – “Why Lie?”

After schooling us at London Fashion Week with MAINS’ second runway show, Skepta’s bag in his music bag. The latest in a lineup of solid singles from 2024 thus far, his newest offering is called “Why Lie?” which sees him link up with Flo Milli for the first time.

Rich the Kid x Famous Dex x Jay Critch – Rich Forever 5

Rich Forever – comprised of Rich the Kid, Famous Dex and Jay Critch – has unveiled its first joint project in five years. The follow-up to 2019’s Rich Forever 4, the album spans 16 songs and sees features from Trippie Redd and Lil Crix.

EARTHGANG x T-Pain x Spillage Village– “Love You More”

The first track from EARTHGANG’s Perfect Fantasy album has landed, which features none other than T-Pain, marking their first link-up since 2019. The energetic “Love You More” – which also sees an assist from Spillage Village – is the rap group’s first release since their dual-mined SNAKEGANG EP with Snakehips.

Cordae – “Mad as F*ck”

Not only did Cordae drop off another solid single – dubbed “Mad as F*ck” – but he’s also given The Crossroads an official release date. Signaling his third release of the year, “Mad as F*ck” arrived in tandem with a confirmed November 15 drop for the long-awaited album.

Ab-Soul – “Squeeze 1st 2”

It appears Ab-Soul’s solo hiatus has come to a close. The Top Dawg Entertainment talent has unveiled his first solo release since 2022’s critically acclaimed Herbert – the album that marked the end of his six-year hiatus.

Flying Lotus – “Indigo Swann”

Flying Lotus is in his EDM era. Fans were surprised to hear the upbeat house offering that is “Indigo Swann,” equipped with heavy synths and poignant percussion. The cut arrives on the heels of last month’s “Garmonbozia.”

The Kid LAROI – “APEROL SPRITZ”

After months of teasing the track on his social media, The Kid LAROI’s “Aperol Spritz” is here. The single indicates another high-point of The Kid’s impressive 2024 run thus far, which has also included THE FIRST TIME (DELUXE EDITION), among other singles and the release of his documentary.

Bruiser Wolf x Zack Fox – “Mountain Lion”

Bruiser Wolf is continuing to collect his credits this year, this time around linking up with Zack Fox for another heavy-hitter. With production by CONNIE, “Mountain Lion” is carried by a retro sample and Fox’s prolific bars.
