Ben Affleck “doesn’t agree with” Jennifer Lopez’s lifestyle and has “checked out” of the marriage amid divorce rumours.
The Gone Girl actor is said to have moved out of the home he shares with his wife. Ben fuelled split rumours when he was spotted attending his daughter’s graduation party alone over the weekend. A source has now revealed the two are taking time apart to decide whether the marriage “is right for both of them”.
It’s believed tensions grew between J-Lo and Ben after she increased her work commitments while preparing for her tour. The singer is set to kick off her 30-date This Is Me…Now Tour on June 26 in Florida.

A source said Ben has felt “worn down” by the marriage amid Jennifer’s increased workload. Speaking to Us Magazine, the source said: “He’s been checked out,” adding that the couple are on “two completely different pages”.
J-Lo’s increased workload has also “highlighted the emotional and physical distance between them”, according to another source. They said the pair have found it difficult to “communicate effectively” recently, which has lead to “significant arguments”.
The source explained how Ben and Jennifer have “fundamentally different approaches to conflict”, as she prefers to talk things out while he withdraws. They’re believed to have recently been arguing over finances and parenting.

Despite the conflicts, the source said J-Lo wants to work on the marriage and is pushing for them to get help. While Ben was initially hesitant, they said he is starting to “invest more” and realises how much he misses Jennifer after leaving the family home.
Split started with claims Ben has “moved out” of the family home. A source told InTouch magazine: “The writing is on the wall – it’s over. They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame! They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted.”
J-Lo is also said to have banned all questions relating to her marriage as she promotes her latest Netflix project. A source told TMZ Netflix alerted all the media outlets that “no Ben Affleck and no personal queries were allowed.”
The Mirror has approached Ben and Jennifer’s representatives for comment.
