Wipe away those tears, the year’s glitteriest all-star collaboration has arrived.
The likes of Cher, Kylie Minogue, Mel C, Lenny Kravitz and Robbie Williams appear on the 2020 charity single for BBC Children in Need, a new cover of Oasis’ “Stop Crying Your Heart Out,” with a backing track featuring the BBC Concert Orchestra and Anoushka Shankar on sitar.

The BBC Radio 2 Allstars track premiered on Zoe Ball’s BBC Radio 2 Breakfast Show Friday morning (Nov. 13), and is issued through Decca Records.
Later, on Friday evening, its official video will drop during the annual appeal show on BBC One.
The single will raise funds to help support children and young people across the U.K. facing disadvantage, at a time when they need it most, a statement reads.
“I felt very emotional recording this song, it was very important to me,” Cher said ahead of release.
Minogue added, “Children in Need is such a special charity and so loved by everyone, including me. It was a privilege to take part in this recording with so many amazing artists. This year it feels even more poignant than ever, and I hope we can all come together to raise as much as possible.”

This isn’t the first time the Corporation has assembled the biggest stars of rock and pop for a good cause. Earlier this year, BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge Allstars featuring Dua Lipa, Chris Martin and Rita Ora covered Foo Fighters’ “Times Like These”.
The cover went all the way to No. 1 on the Official U.K. Singles Chart in May, with proceeds split between Children in Need and Comic Relief.
Paloma Faith and Jess Glynne performed on both cuts.
