As Spotify Wrapped once again dominates social media, Bad Bunny has been revealed as Spotify‘s most streamed artist worldwide in 2022. This is Bad Bunny’s third consecutive year as Spotify’s most-streamed artist around the globe.
The Puerto Rican superstar joins the ranks of Taylor Swift, The Weeknd and K-Pop icons BTS as a part of the unsinkable group in Spotify’s worldwide top five artists. 2022 was a blockbuster year for the “Moscow Mule” singer. Producing hit after hit and a smash-hit album, Un Verano Sin Ti, which was recently nominated for the album of the year Grammy, is also Spotify’s most-streamed album around the world this year.
In honor of his Spotify streaming achievement, the streaming company is turning its heart icon into album art for Un Verano Sin Ti. In the U.S., Drake came out on top as the most-streamed artist of the year and Taylor Swift followed in second place. Bad Bunny was third most-streamed in the U.S. Despite his negative press, Ye also appeared in the top five. Harry Styles‘ single “As It Was” from his Grammy-nominated album Harry’s House was te most streamed song worldwide while Bad Bunny’s tracks, “Me Porto Bonito” and “Tití Me Preguntó” were fourth and fifth respectively.
