Expected to fetch as much as $2,800,000 USD, this exceptional example, chassis 3057, has a storied history of accolades and meticulous care.

Originally introduced as the fastest production car in the world, the Miura P400 was a revolutionary model for Lamborghini. Conceived as an after-hours project by a group of ambitious young engineers, it featured a transverse, mid-mounted V12 engine and avant-garde styling. Named after Spanish fighting bull breeder Don Eduardo Miura, the car’s iconic design, including its bullhorn-inspired doors, paved the way for the modern supercar.

Chassis 3057 stands out as an exemplary early Miura. Restored in 2016 by renowned specialists, it retains its fully rebuilt original engine with modernized internals. With just three owners and 33,000 miles since new, this Miura entered the concours circuit in 2017, coinciding with the model’s 50th anniversary. It secured numerous prestigious awards, including Best Restored Miura at The Quail, Best Miura, Best Lamborghini and the coveted Best in Show at Concorso Italiano. It was also honored with the Automobili Lamborghini America’s Bull Award, considered the ultimate accolade for classic Lamborghinis.

This piece of automotive history comes with extensive restoration documentation, its original Italian license plate and several concours trophies, underscoring its significance and appeal to collectors. Bidding for the vehicle is set to open on January 24, 2025.
