Audi has unveiled the upgraded RS 3, its compact powerhouse known for its blend of precision, speed, and style. This revamped version boasts a dynamic design and cutting-edge enhancements, solidifying its status as the fastest in its class with a record-breaking lap time of 7:33.123 minutes on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife.
Visually, the new RS 3 provides sportiness from every angle — the front fascia now features a more assertive hexagonal Singleframe grille, flanked by functional side air intakes and a splitter that echoes Audi’s motorsport heritage. The rear is equally aggressive, with a redesigned diffuser and larger RS-specific exhaust outlets. The car is available in new colors, including Kyalami Green and Daytona Gray with a matte finish, paired with standard 19-inch aluminum wheels that underline its motorsport pedigree.
Inside, the cabin is a haven for performance enthusiasts. The new flat-top and flat-bottom steering wheel, along with optional RS bucket seats, ensures a firm grip and support during performance driving. The interior, dominated by dark tones and carbon accents, offers a tactile experience that matches the RS 3’s dynamic capabilities. The Audi virtual Cockpit Plus, now with enhanced performance displays, puts crucial driving data front and center.
Under the hood, the 2.5 TFSI engine roars with 400 hp, delivering 0-60 mph in just 3.8 seconds and a top speed of 180 mph. The RS 3’s upgraded chassis and new standard tires ensure precise handling, making cornering at high speeds a breeze. The new Audi RS 3 is set to arrive in dealerships this October 2024, with prices starting at €66,000 EUR in Germany — with details on a broader global release not yet announced at the time of writing.
