Audi has introduced the RS 6 Avant GT, a vehicle aimed at redefining the boundaries of high-performance station wagons. This special edition surpasses the power and speed of its predecessors and also showcases a wealth of exclusive design features and technological advancements.
At the heart of the RS 6 Avant GT is a 4.0L V8 biturbo TFSI engine, delivering a formidable 630 hp and 626 lb-ft of torque. This powerhouse enables the car to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 3.2 seconds, with a top speed of 189 mph. The Audi RS 6 Avant GT combines this exceptional performance with an all-wheel-drive system and an eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox, designed to provide both a dynamic driving experience and superior handling.
Distinctive by design, the RS 6 Avant GT features a variety of bespoke elements, including a pass-through roof edge spoiler, 22-inch wheels and a redefined diffuser that elevates its sporty appearance. Inside the cabin, the interior boasts high-quality bucket seats finished in a unique color scheme, individual numbering and an exclusive RS design package. Additionally, the vehicle incorporates materials like carbon fiber for the hood and fenders.
Drawing inspiration from the legendary Audi 90 quattro IMSA GTO race car and the RS 6 GTO concept developed by Audi apprentices, the RS 6 Avant GT stands as an expression of both innovation and heritage. Notably, its manufacturing process is taking place at the Böllinger Höfe alongside the Audi R8 and e-tron GT.
Delivers for the Audi RS 6 Avant GT, priced at €219,355 EUR or roughly $236,000 USD, are expected to begin the second quarter of 2024 — with production to be limited to 660 models worldwide and approximately 85 for the North American market.
