At the time of writing, most details about the vehicle are still under wraps. The video includes shots of the model’s wheels and carbon-fiber body components, though it does not provide a full look at the car.
While existing DBX models enlist engines from AMG, reports from Motor1 state that the forthcoming SUV will be equipped with Aston Martin’s twin-turbo V12. Additionally, prototypes spotted last year included the twelve-cylinder powerhouse (similar to the brand’s DB11 and DBS models), according to the outlet, though the car’s specs have not been confirmed.
Current DBX models are able to provide 542 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. With the twin-turbo V12 engine, the new DBX will likely be able to produce a 690 horsepower output, like Aston Martin’s V12 Speedster.
Aston Martin’s new DBX model will be revealed on February 1.
