Astell&Kern, one of South Korea’s leading audio brands, has just unveiled its all-new AK UW100MKII true wireless earbuds and it stands as a revitalized version of its predecessor, the AK UW100MKII.
This latest release from Astell&Kern builds on the brand’s ethos of delivering natural sound, offering its most advanced true-wireless sound to date with an embedded 32-bit DAC and a full-range Balanced Armature driver. Additionally, the earbuds integrate a new aptX-Adaptive codec support, which provides exceptional audio quality as well as Passive Noise Isolation for intimate listening.
Meanwhile, the AK UW100MKII also features a more advanced circuit design, ensuring a more stable connection and vastly reduced distortion and excess noise. The optimized internal arrangement is also evolved with the introduction of an adjusted BA driver and a redesigned acoustic chamber; this not only elevates the overall sound quality but also improves wireless playtime.
With this in mind, the power system has been redesigned to increase wireless playback time to almost 10 hours of continuous playback with a total of 29 hours total playback with the accompanying charging case. And while the size of the charging cradle has been reduced significantly, the AK UW100MKII achieves an impressive one hour of continuous playtime from only a 10-minute charge.
A Qualcomm’s cVc Generation 8.0 (Clear Voice Capture) is then included to deliver an exceptionally clear and more stable call quality, while Clear Voice Capture is used to keep background noise to a minimum in noisy environments. Rounding things off, easy-to-touch controls ensure a hassle-free listening experience through the use of a simple tap, that allows listeners to switch between functions to play music, answer calls, enter ambient mode, adjust the volume, and more.
You can take a closer look at the new AK UW100MKII from Astell&Kern above and it will be available to shop via the brand’s official website in early October for $280 USD.
In other news, a First-Generation iPod has just been sold.
