The singer, who recently collaborated with Lady Gaga for Mother Monster’s “Rain on Me,” last released an album in 2019. Thank U, Next dropped in February that year, and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
Producer Tommy Brown earlier seemingly hinted at the upcoming new album. On Oct. 10, he shared a photo of himself with Grande on Instagram and captioned it, “6****.”
Earlier this year, during an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe, the singer noted that she had put together a home studio, but added that fans shouldn’t expect new music anytime soon.
“I don’t really feel comfortable putting anything out right now, because it’s just like other than this, it’s a really tricky time for all of that,” Grande explained.
