Nigerian singer-songwriter and worship leader Aremmic starts the year with his latest single “Sweet Communion,” released today on all digital platforms.
This follows the success of his December cover of ‘Mary, Did You Know?’ which received praise from fans and critics alike.
Produced by Hillsplay, “Sweet Communion” is a heartfelt ballad that reflects Aremmic’s longing for a deeper connection with God. In this soul-stirring masterpiece, he expresses his desire for a closer, more intimate relationship with the divine, singing, “You’re the One I long for, just You and Me God.”
Describing the inspiration behind the song, Aremmic said, “…it is a song of intimacy and devotion to God. This song is a cry of a heart seeking to know God beyond what we have been conditioned to know. The interesting thing is, it is God who creates this desire in us, and this is my heart’s cry to God. I’m sure this is someone’s heart cry also.”
