Arctic Monkeys Drop “Sculptures of Anything Goes” Music Video

Arctic Monkeys recently shared that they’ll be returning to Glastonbury for their third time headlining the festival. Following up on that announcement, the British rock band has debuted an official music video for their single “Sculptures Of Anything Goes.”

The track comes off of their latest album, The Car, which landed as the band’s seventh studio LP last October. The project was written by frontman Alex Turner at his homes in Los Angeles and Paris, and then recorded by the band between Paris, London and their home city of Suffolk.

Pulling influences from punk, pop and orchestral rock, “Sculptures Of Anything Goes” tied together the layers of genre with poetic, thoughtful lyrics.

“How am I supposed to manage my infallible beliefs? / While I’m sockin’ it to ya,” Turner sings. “Performing in Spanish on Italian TV / Sometime in the future.”

Shot during the band’s ongoing tour, the visual was directed by Ben Chappell and edited by Matt Cronin.
