Apple TV+ Will Be Free for the First Weekend of 2025

Apple TV+ Will Be Free for the First Weekend of 2025

Apple TV+ is offering a special gift to ring in the new year. From January 3 until January 5, all that’s needed is a registered Apple ID for audiences to enjoy the company’s premium streaming service at no cost.

Worldwide users where Apple TV+ is available will have full access to the streaming catalog, including shows like “Ted Lasso,” “Severance,” “The Morning Show, “Silo,” “Shrinking,” “Bad Sisters” and more. A line-up of new 2024 film releases are also available including “Fly Me to the Moon” with Scarlett Johanson and Channing Tatum, and “Blitz” with Saoirse Ronan and Harris Dickinson.

However, Apple’s most anticipated return won’t be released just yet. Season two of the hit series Severance is set to premiere roughly two weeks later on January 17.

The generous weekend trial is likely aimed at bringing new users to the streaming platform, which has a current fee of $9.99/mo. To register a new Apple ID or browse the selection visit the official Apple TV+ website.
