A live-action Godzilla series is officially making its way to Apple TV+.
According to reports, the forthcoming show will take place after Godzilla and the Titans battled it out in San Francisco — confirming to humans that kaijus are real. “[T]he untitled series explores one family’s journey to uncover its buried secrets and a legacy linking them to the secret organization known as Monarch,” Deadline shared.
Legendary Television will produce the series while co-creators Chris Black, Matt Fraction, Safehouse Pictures’ Joby Harold and Tory Tunnell and Hiro Matsuoka and Takemasa Arita of Toho Co. Ltd. — the owner of the Godzilla character — will serve as executive producers.
