Apple Reportedly Targets Early September for iPhone 14 Launch Event

Apple is reportedly gearing up for a product launch event on September 7, according to Bloomberg. The tech giant normally hosts a large event with a slew of tech updates in September, so tentatively mark your calendars for Apple’s latest slate.

Apple is rumored to unveil its long-awaited iPhone 14 at the event, with four new models expected: the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, the 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and the 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max. The latter two additions are rumored to be equipped with Apple’s new 4nm A16 Bionic chipset, and the former two will likely keep the iPhone 13‘s 5nm A15 Bionic SoC.

According to reports in May, the iPhone 14 Pro models are expected to arrive without the top notch and instead with an “i-shaped” cutout that will host the FaceTime camera and the True Depth camera. The Pro and Pro Max models are also rumored to come with a 120Hz Promotion Display and a 48-megapixel wide-angle camera. Additionally, Apple is rumored to unveil the Apple Watch 8 and the AirPods Pro 2 during the September showcase.

Apple has yet to confirm any of the aforementioned product launches. According to Bloomberg, the company will stream the September event online.

Elsewhere in tech, Meta is tracking users who visit websites via Facebook and Instagram’s in-app browsers.
