Apple Music App Arrives on Xbox Consoles

Apple Music App Arrives on Xbox Consoles

Microsoft has launched the Apple Music across Xbox consoles, an app that gamers have been requesting for some time now. Xbox already offered Apple TV as well Spotify, but has neglected Apple Music’s users.

Now available on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One, the Apple Music app has to be downloaded from either the Xbox store or Microsoft store. Once opened, it appears as a larger version of the same screen shown on mobile devices.

Xbox’s Apple Music app also offers background playback, so users can still stream their music while playing games. Alongside supporting videos and radio stations, it’s also convenient for users who may not own a speaker and simply wish to stream music directly from their television or PC.

Competitor Sony was the first console to integrate Apple Music, introducing the streaming service to its PlayStation 5 over a year ago.

In other gaming news, a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 leak features Messi and Neymar as future operators.
