Apple Announces Schedule for 2023 Worldwide Developers Conference

Apple has unveiled the schedule for this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference. Kicking off on June 5 with the yearly keynote presentation and running until June 9, the weeklong event will see the company introduce the public to new technologies, updates and products.

On the software side, Apple is expected to be announcing the new content updates iOS 17 and macOS 14, according to a report from MacRumors. It’s also expected to offer a look into the latest UI being offered for the Apple Watch via watchOS 10.

As for products, Apple fans are holding out that the company will finally reveal its long-awaited AR/VR headset, a project that’s allegedly been in the making for years now.

Others are more excited about the rumored 15-inch MacBook Air. Steve Jobs himself had apparently detailed future plans for a 15-inch laptop as early as 2007. If launched, it would make it the largest addition to the Air line.

While the conference is geared towards developers specifically, offering tutorials from experts on app building and optimization, anyone can tune in to the live-streamed event.

In other tech news, Amazon’s new palm-scanning technology allows a customer to buy alcohol without showing ID.
