Anne Hathaway Is a Sinister Prison Psychologist In 'EILEEN' Trailer

NEON has released the first official trailer for its new psychological-drama, EILEEN. Directed by Lady Macbeth‘s William Oldroyd, the British talent enlists a thrilling cast, including Thomasin McKenzie, Anne Hathaway, Shea Whigham, Siobhan Fallon Hogan, and Owen Teague.

EILEEN is set in the brisk winter of 1964, following a young prison secretary living an ordinary life. Her priorities shift when introduced to a dazzling psychologist (Rebecca) played by Academy Award-winning actress Anne Hathaway.

Based on Ottessa Moshfegh’s beloved novel, Rebecca enchants Eileen (Thomasin McKenzie) with sinister charm, guiding her into dangerous realms and uncovering dark secrets along the way. She reveals her murderous desires through bloody photographs and hidden weapons. Their bond blossoms on unsettling paths, reevaluating their status in the everyday world.
