Originally launched in 2021, the series initially presented nine original shorts from seven prominent Japanese anime studios, earning widespread praise for its innovative storytelling and unique cultural reinterpretations of the Star Wars mythology.

The 2023 second volume expanded the creative vision by embracing a global collaborative approach, incorporating studios from diverse regions including India, South Africa, Chile, and the United Kingdom.
