Andrew has unearthed some interesting angles for racing on Thursday and has three recommended bets/trades at Sedgefield, Taunton and Chelmsford:

Horse Racing Betting Tips for Thursday November 11th

SEDGEFIELD 1.12

MAH MATE BOB is best after a very recent outing, recording form figures of 111141 (5-6) when returned to the track 14 days or sooner since his latest run. He’s failed to register a single win from 18 attempts when off the track for more than a fortnight and he can be opposed on his first start since June. Selling him at 10 in the SpreadEx 50-25-10 market is the recommendation. Those who prefer the fixed odds approach could do worse than side with the same owner’s REACIUS FELIX at 3-1.

Recommendation: Oppose MAH MATE BOB in Sedgefield 1.12

TAUNTON 2.02

I usually like to side with frontrunners in handicap chases at Taunton but there are two in this 2m2f novices’ contest and they could take each other on for the lead and set it up for a stalker. The pair in question – CATCH THE CUBAN and NAIZAGAI – are both also difficult to win with. The former has won just one of his 27 career starts and the latter is one from 17. Despite those troubling profiles they are currently trading at 2-1 and 9-4 with SpreadEx in their fixed odds betting. Take them on with HERONORD, who makes his debut for Evan Williams. His new handler doesn’t run many four-year-olds in chases but they show a profit. He’s had nine winners from 40 runners during the course of his career for a profit of £13.98 to a £1 level stake at SP. Eight of the beaten horses finished second and he can be bought in the SpreadEx 50-25-10 market or backed at 6-1 in the fixed odds betting.

Recommendation: Back HERONORD in Taunton 2.02

CHELMSFORD 4.30

DASHING TO YOU heads the betting for this 1m2f nursery on the strength of his last-time-out 1m Brighton win but he’s not certain to appreciate the switch to Polytrack for the first time. Progeny of his sire Olympic Glory are just two from 76 on Polytrack (expected winners = 7.26) for a huge loss of £68.25 to a £1 level stake at SP (-89.8% on turnover) and the juveniles are 0-23. He looks worth a seller in the 50-25-10 SpreadEx market.

Recommendation: Oppose DASHING TO YOU in Chelmsford 4.30
