Andrew’s buy of Racecard No.1s at Warwick produced a good profit on Friday and he has three more recommended bets/trades on Saturday:
Horse Racing Betting Tips for Saturday November 6th
DONCASTER 11.50
The forecast strong headwind is going to make life exceptionally difficult for prominent racers at Doncaster today, as they won’t be able to get cover from the wind. Mark Johnston’s I’M A GAMBLER will likely prove vulnerable in the opening 6f nursery (11.50) if he adopts his usual forcing tactics and can be sold in the SpreadEx 50-25-10 race market. Those looking for an alternative in the SpreadEx fixed odds betting could do worse than Tim Easterby’s PRAYER MATT. His trainer has had three winners and two places from ten runners in the past ten renewals of this 6f nursery and she looks open to improvement on her handicap debut.
Recommendation: Oppose I’M A GAMBLER in Doncaster 11.50
DONCASTER RACECARD No.1s
I’M A GAMBLER (see above) is number 1 on the racecard in the opener at Doncaster and another runner I’m keen to take on – KING’S LYNN – heads the racecard in the 6f Listed Wentworth Stakes (2.05). Sir Michael Stoute’s four-year-old looks set to encounter the required strong pace but he could be a little exposed on the far side from stall 1 of 15 and has to concede weight to all his rivals. He’s also very difficult to win with, scoring just once from 11 starts in the past two years. Top weight GLOBAL STORM (stall 2 of 23) is perhaps not best draw in the November Handicap (2.40) as those drawn in the bottom seven stalls are 0-70 in this race in the past ten years. GIFTED RULER, number 1 on the racecard in the 3.45, has solid each-way claims but a sell of RACECARD No.1s with SpreadEx could see the market move in our favour by this point, giving us a good opportunity to trade out for a profit.
Recommendation: Sell RACECARD No.1s at Doncaster
AINTREE 1.40
KATESON has a strong seasonal pattern to his form, peaking in the early months of the season. Had we simply backed him during October, November or December we’d have won four of our 11 bets and made a profit of £17.25 to a £1 level stake at SP. He’s drawn a blank in nine runs outside of this period. He can be backed each-way in the SpreadEx fixed odds market on his debut for in-form Alastair Ralph.
Recommendation: Back KATESON in Aintree 1.40
