NEWMARKET 4.15
THE NU FORM WAY (system – Jane Elliott in small fields)
Certain jockeys are particularly effective in small-field tactical affairs and Jane Elliott fits into this category. Simply backing all her turf mounts in fields of nine or fewer runners would have found 34 winners from 195 bets (17.4% strike-rate) and returned a profit of £63.25 to a £1 level stake at SP. Hat-trick seeking THE NU FORM WAY is 2lb well in under a penalty after scoring by a wide margin at Doncaster last week and his come-from-behind style is likely to be an asset thanks to the forecast strong headwind.
KEMPTON 5.00
INTERNAL CONFLICT (system – Richard Hannon, nursery debut, Kempton)
Richard Hannon’s INTERNAL CONFLICT is well drawn in stall 3 and looks a likely improver now running in a handicap for the first time. Since the beginning of 2015, the yard’s juveniles who were making their nursery debuts at this venue won eight of their 44 starts for a profit of £21.13. In Class 5 or 6 races only they won six from 30 for a profit of £27.00.

DUNDALK 6.45
TRADING POINT (system – sire Siyouni, Polytrack, 4yo+)
Progeny of Siyouni do well on Polytrack and they also improve with age. Had we backed all the four-year-olds and older on this surface we’d have won 23 of our 118 bets (19.5%) and made a profit of £53.95 to a £1 level stake at SP. TRADING POINT placed at 22-1 over course and distance last time on his second start back from a break and, though a seven-year-old, he hasn’t had many opportunities on the all-weather.
KEMPTON 8.30
DECORATION OF WAR (system – Max Young, recent outing, top four finish LTO)
Max Young has done well with limited resources and simply backing all the yard’s runners who were fit (ran within the last six weeks) and in reasonable form (top four finish last time out) would have found six winners from 22 bets for a profit of £21.88 to a £1 level stake at SP. DECORATION OF WAR was placed off a mark of 63 on his only previous visit to Kempton and can run off just 55 tonight.
