An Official Look at TaylorMade’s Stealth Carbonwood Drivers

TaylorMade has constructed the Stealth Carbonwood Drivers, which introduces state-of-the-art technology and fabrication of a 60X Carbon Twist Face. The 60 layers of carbon fiber in Stealth supply heightened performance by producing more speed.

TaylorMade’s Stealth Carbonwood Drivers provides weight reduction and larger face size with its advanced 60x Carbon Twist Face. The red carbon face unleashes an elevated COR – short for coefficient of restitution – and more accurate face geometry through a lighter but sizable face. The Stealth’s nanotexture cover is designed from a thin polyurethane layer that results in a solid and flexible striking exterior that performs to optimize distance based on enhancing launch conditions in any weather conditions. This driver model improves clubhead speed while also enabling additional weight to be set at the club’s rear to support higher moment of inertia and forgiveness.

The Stealth Carbonwood Driver is offered in three models — Stealth Plus, Stealth, and Stealth HD. Golfers have a range of choices with the Stealth plus integrating a 10g sliding weight track created to assist players in controlling shot shape by adjusting mass on the sole to produce desired ball flight. The Stealth Plus provides the lowest spin rate. In addition, the Stealth boasts 200-300 RPMs more spin with the weight reductions of the 60x Carbon Twist Face by adding weight to be situated low and deep in the head. Lastly, the Stealth HD employs an Inertia Generator that lays closer to the heel while generating the highest MOI out of all the drivers.

The TaylorMade Stealth Plus retails for $600 USD while the Stealth and Stealth HD are priced at $580 USD. Availability begins February 4, at authorized retailers and the official TaylorMade website.

In other golf news, the Air Jordan 1 low golf arrives in “Chicago” and other new colorways.
