Lifestraw Go Series 1L

“I’ve heard of Lifestraw before but never got around to trying the brand out until they took me all the way to Mexico to test their products. I drank tap water for almost a week through this Lifestraw bottle without getting sick (and really enjoyed it!). Lifestraw’s products have a membrane microfilter that protects against bacteria and parasites, and even filters out microplastics. The carbon filter adds an extra layer of protection and makes the water taste pretty good.

For what they do, the price of Lifestraw’s products is definitely worth it — and each purchase provides a year of clean drinking water to a child in need. I highly suggest snagging one of these if you’re planning on traveling to a place where the tap water is iffy, and even if you’re a regular tap water drinker in general.” — Elizabeth Gulino, Senior Writer

Caraway Tan France Collection Cookware Set

“Ever since our lifestyle writer Alexandra Polk raved about the Caraway cookware set (after testing it for two years!), I’ve been dying to try it out. Although I’m not the greatest cook in the world, I feel that a good cookware set will inspire me to try new things — or at least get me in the kitchen more often. My dreams finally came true when Caraway sent over a set from their new Tan France Collection, which includes gorgeous colors such as blush, crème and my personal fave, moss. While I haven’t tried out any elaborate recipes, I do find myself pleased with the durability of the pans, and the nonstick feature doesn’t hurt when I’m making my morning eggs. I’m excited to spend the next two years — and beyond — with them, just like my coworker.” — EG

Rael High-Waisted Period Underwear

“I live for a good pair of period underwear — and trust me, they aren’t all good. This pair is soft, comfy and very absorbent. I usually reach for period underwear on day four or five when my flow is light enough to skip a tampon but I also loved these as a security blanket for my heaviest days. Most importantly, I love how the absorbency means they dry quickly, so you never have to sit with that wet feeling. Bonus points for the high waist — as a bloated girly, I live for a high-waisted moment.” — Hannah Rimm, Senior Life Editor

Bose SoundLink Flex Bluetooth Speaker

“My favorite part of summer is any chance I get to be in a body of water. I’m personally partial to lakes and pools but I’ll take an ocean, a stream, a babbling brook — any chance to be splashing, I’ll be there. What has always been lacking from my favorite activity of floating-on-a-lake-with-no-cares-in-the-world is music. I’ve had great portable speakers but they’ve been prone to dying if they accidentally fall in the water so I always left them on shore and pretended I could hear my perfectly curated summer playlist from afar. So when I saw a demo of the Bose SoundLink Flex speaker, I let out an involuntary screech of joy. This is the speaker I’ve been looking for my whole life. It’s lightweight, plenty loud, waterproof and, best of all, it floats. I threw it in a pool the first chance I got and not only did it not die, it kept playing as it bobbed across the deep end. Needless to say, this speaker will be living by my side all summer long.” — HR

Penfolds Bin 28 Shiraz

“Nothing gets me quite like a good Australian shiraz, and the Penfolds Bin 28 really gets me. It’s jammy and bold with a warm, biteless finish. It’s one of my favorite bottles of wine to bring to a dinner party because it’s such an easy-to-drink crowd-pleaser. I’ve also been known to enjoy a glass or two on my own on a cozy Friday night in. 10/10 recommend this be a staple on your bar cart.” — HR

Bite Away Insect Sting & Itch Relief Stick

“One of the things I hate most are bug bites. Hate them. Hate them. Hate them. I have no self-control and the itchiness and swelling always drives me crazy. While I love summer and sun, mosquitoes and gnats definitely make me think twice about going outside. I already have the Bug Bite Thing for trying to remove a bite as soon as you get bitten but my other favorite gizmo is this bite away device. Yes, it’s probably expensive for a ‘bug-bite tool’ but for me, it’s definitely worth it to get fast relief if you’re constantly touching your bug bites. Warning though: If you have a low pain threshold, this does burn…a lot. The idea is that it gets really, really hot to relieve the immediate itch. It only lasts for a few seconds but it helps keep you from scratching and potential swelling at bay. Whenever I know I’m traveling somewhere kind-of outdoorsy, I take this with me.” — Lisa Dionisio, Editorial Director, Newsletters

Woozoo Globe Multi-Directional Oscillating Fan w/ Remote

“Consider me TikTok-influenced. This Woozoo fan popped up on my feed a few weeks back, just as NYC hit above 80 degrees. It is a bit pricey but having bought two other cheap fans, which have both already broken, I think it’s worth the investment. This Woozoo fan is quiet but strong, the air circulation reaches across my apartment, and it’s cute and compact in size. My favorite feature is that it has a remote. I can control fan speed and the direction it turns without getting up off the couch.” — LD

OPI Nail Envy

“I’ve been biting my nails for as long as I can remember. (It’s me, hi, I’m the problem.) A month ago my mom (yes, she’s that cool) got me onto Nail Envy by OPI. All I have to do is apply a coat once a day (preferably while watching Jury Duty) and, once a week, take off all the polish, give myself a mini manicure and start again. For once in my life my nails are growing. ” — Carli Whitwell, Senior Editorial Director

Swiftly Tech Racerback Tank Top 2.0

“Running through a heat wave is masochistic, I know, but it always helps to clear my head after a busy workday. Along with a hat and sunscreen and my fave bike shorts, my go-to shirt is this Lululemon Swiftly Tech Racerback Tank Top 2.0, which feels like I’m wearing nothing at all!” — CW

Visp’s The Elixir Mixer

“If you’re a die-hard matcha person this sleek investment water bottle might change your life. The durable glass bottle can handle hot or cold liquids and includes an electric whisker so you can re-blend your protein, greens powder, or teas on the go. I’ve recently been drinking AG1 greens every day (hoping it transforms my energy levels), but I can’t stand when the powder separates from the water and you’re left with a chunky mess to sip on. This bottle makes it so easy to re-whisk my drink if I’m out and about or at the office.” – Kate Spencer, Senior Affiliate Strategist

Bright Cellars’ Pink Drink Box

“I got the cutest package this month from the wine membership program Bright Cellars to celebrate their new ‘Pink Drink’ wine bundle, including two rosés and two bottles of ready-to-drink margaritas, which are actually agave wine. I’ll be honest, I’m wary of anything calling itself wine that’s not made out of grapes but after one sip(!), I was sold. With the Barbie movie being released this month and my outfit already picked out (this Reformation set in hot pink, naturally), I’ve found the drink I’ll be enjoying while I apply my lipstick and falsies before heading to the theater.” — Annie Black, Social Editor

Peacock Garden Snugbox

“I was tipped off about this stash box by a fellow editor and it’s a perfect replacement for the one I made as a pandemic craft (a true work of art: an old-school lunch tin covered in pom-poms). This stash box, which is technically for storing cannabis products but could be used for a variety of storage solutions, is a major upgrade. It’s sturdy and discreet, covered in beautiful velvet, and has compartments inside to help keep your supply organized. I’ve always said a good way to break the stigma around marijuana use (in my case for mental health purposes) is to make it cuter, and this box? This box does that. [Editor’s note: Please consult a licensed professional before trying cannabis for any health-related reasons.] Even if you’re not a fan of my gal pal Mary Jane, this box will keep whatever it is you need safe and sound locked away for good.” — AB

Refinery29 in no way encourages illegal activity and would like to remind its readers that marijuana usage continues to be an offense under federal law, regardless of state marijuana laws.

Esencia Onsen Spa at Nobu Los Cabos

“I had the pleasure of being one of the first guests at Nobu Los Cabos’ Esencia Onsen Spa in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Located within the brand-new Residences at Nobu Los Cabos, this state-of-the-art spa facility is the epitome of luxury with oak, white gala and stone bringing the traditional Nobu culinary aesthetic into a spa. I experienced the most tranquil essence massage. It started with 20 minutes in a private sauna, then I moved to my own personal hydrotherapy area where I relaxed for another 30 minutes before embarking on an hour-long Esencia massage. The massage itself is a combination of traditional long and gentle massage movements that promote relaxation and detoxification of the body. From there I was able to relax for as long as I wanted while sipping tea, snacking on fruit and nuts, and listening to a sound therapy session. Everything from the service to the experience was excellent and truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.” — Cortni Spearman, Social Director

Pendry, Manhattan West

“I love a good staycation. Forget paying for a flight; why not find joy and newness right where you are? For my New Yorkers, I present the Pendry at Manhattan West. This neighborhood used to be pretty desolate back in the day but it’s now bustling with restaurants, shops and plenty of public transportation, making it super convenient to get to and a great place to explore. If you’re looking for modern luxury within a hotel, the Pendry Manhattan West is stunning. The rooms feel cozy but chic and I felt completely at home without having to leave the Manhattan West area for literally anything. I visited the hotel’s signature lobby bar, Bar Pendry, for classic craft cocktails and snacks but if you’re looking for something a bit more indulgent, walk right on over to Casa Dani for what might be the best Spanish food I’ve had inside the US. Be sure to get the paella — you’ll thank me later.” — CS
