Crocs Crush Slide

“Never did I ever think I would become a Crocs girlie. I’ve had friends and coworkers who were diehard fans of the brand, but I never understood the hype — until I had the opportunity to put a pair on my feet. And since then, I’ve become a changed woman. These slides in particular are my first-ever pair, and when I say they’re some of the most comfortable things I’ve ever worn, I’m telling the truth. They have a platform to add some height to my 5’1 frame, and they’re cushy enough to feel like recovery slides. If I had a dog in NYC, they’d be my go-to dog walking shoe, but I’ll just have to settle for them being my go-to errand shoe for now.” — Elizabeth Gulino, Senior Writer

Spanx Contour Rib Front Slit Skort

“Besides the Crocs, another new addition to my wellness wardrobe is this Spanx — yes, Spanx! — skort. I would not consider myself a workout skort girlie — although I do own a workout dress, I do not work out in it — but once I put this on I immediately felt so comfy in it. I played my very first game of pickleball in this skort, and felt supported throughout my many attempts at hitting the ball over the net. One of my favorite features is the little pocket on the side of the shorts under the skort, which is crucial for phone storage when going on a walk sans bag. Okay Spanx, we see you!” — EG

Dr. Teal’s Sleep Spray

“As a person who has never been good at sleeping in my life, I’ve tried truly everything to help me sleep — pills, routines, essential oils, deep breathing — you name it, I’ve tried it. So when I came across the Dr. Teal’s Sleep Spray, I had relatively low hopes. That is, until I sprayed it. The combination of melatonin, chamomile, and lavender is so intoxicatingly calming it nearly knocked me out on the spot. Though I can’t say if it’s doing anything scientifically speaking or just pure placebo, spraying a bit of this on my pillow each night makes me feels like I’m sleeping at the most luxurious, indulgent spa. This decadent (and inexpensive) spray has become an absolute essential in my nighttime self-care routine.” — Hannah Rimm, Senior Life Editor

Bilt Mastercard

“I am a credit card points girlie and for the longest time my biggest gripe was that I couldn’t get credit card points for my biggest purchase every month, rent. Living in New York, spending thousands on rent is an unfortunate reality, so when I first heard about a credit card that gave you points for rent dollars, I was floored. Bilt creates a unique routing and account number for you so can receive points (without the transaction fee) even if your rent needs to be paid by bank account or check. The points can then be used to pay for travel, gym memberships, and even saving for a down payment. Plus, there’s no annual fee!” — HR

Quiet Mind Weighted Pillow

“I have to be honest, even as a diehard wellness enthusiast with depression and anxiety, I’ve never loved a weighted blanket. I move too much in my sleep and when I lie on the couch that I’ve found them more restricting than comforting. But, I did always love the calming effect. Enter: Quiet Mind — a weighted pillow that gives the same anxiety relief without the restriction. I love how compact and huggable the pillow is and it’s great for everything from meditation to watching TV. I especially like to have it on my lap for a long day of work from home meetings and editing. In fact, it’s on my lap as I type this — and man do I feel calm, comforted, and focused.” — HR

TaskRabbit

“I’ve spent a lot of this year realizing that there is no physical way I can do everything on my to-do list on my own highlighter-flecked shoulders. And while I’m not quite in my personal assistant era yet, I’ve realized there are plenty of opportunities to delegate my everyday tasks to someone else. When I had my Night of 1000 Amandas birthday extravaganza last month, TaskRabbit was basically my hero. I already found my fantastic cleaning lady via the app (Love you, Hanna!) but I had never done the undertaking of both planning and hosting an event of that magnitude. A huge weight was taken off my shoulders when I hired a TaskRabbit to do all the post-event cleaning and organizing of the leftover drinks and whatnot — I don’t think I could have enjoyed my party if I had the weight of cleaning up (a task I hate doing on a regular basis in my own home, let alone in my friend’s apartment she let me have the event in) taking over my brain the evening. I also learned that if I wanted, I could also hire a TaskRabbit to do drinks service, bartend — whatever I really needed, they have it. It’s not just for hiring cleaning people or help building furniture, TaskRabbit really can do it all.” — Amanda Mitchell, Senior Beauty Writer

Reusable Hand Soap

“I finally replaced all my hand soap and dish soap bottles with reusable ones from Target like this faux ceramic one for our bathroom and this oil can style for our hand and dish soap on the kitchen sink. For refills, we usually grab Target’s Everspring hand soap and dish soap refills since they come in a low waste packages, but when those are out of stock there are a million online retailers with similar refill packaging. We save money and we’re not going through tons of plastic bottles every year.” — Kelsea Stahler, Content Director

Thermacell Mosquito Repellent

“I’ve been spending most of July out of the city at my parents’ place in the country, which means no traffic and noise (yay), but non-stop mosquito bites (boo). To help, I’ve been using a Thermacell, a chargeable device that heats up a repellant and vaporizes it through the air as far as 20 feet – and works better than gross bug spray.” — Carli Whitwell, Senior Editorial Director

Plastic Lacing String Cord

“I’m all thumbs when it comes to crafts, but do you know who doesn’t care? My seven-year-old niece. This past weekend, we played with this Rexlace bracelet kit for HOURS, making DIY jewelry (I’m partial to the zipper pattern) for everyone in our friend circle, but mostly for ourselves because that’s what best friends do. I’ve never missed my childhood more.” — CW

Caudalie Smooth & Glow Oil Elixir

“I wasn’t quite sure what to expect from this product, especially since it claims to hydrate your hair and your body (I’m not a huge fan of two-in-one products). But as soon as I put it on I was blown away. It’s lightweight but still very hydrating and is also perfect as a finishing touch on a sleek blowout or smoothing away those flyaways. The scent is fresh for summer, has a calming effect that adds a subtle glow to the skin and overall makes me feel luxurious and. At around $50 a bottle it’s the perfect product to add into your self-care routine.” — Cortni Spearman, Director of Social
