Adele last commented on her upcoming album’s timeline in August when a fan asked about its status on Instagram. “I honestly have no idea,” the Grammy-winner replied at the time.
Adele’s last studio album, 25, arrived in 2015. The set made music sales history, earning a milestone debut on the Billboard 200 chart, and instantly became the year’s top selling album in the U.S. in just one week.
