Acura is sending off its iconic NSX supercar in style by releasing a new Type S version.
Ending at the 2022 model, this last NSX will only be available in 350 examples with 300 of those going to the U.S. market. While it is assumed the new NSX will receive a bump in power and handling in line with its past Type S upgrades, no numbers have officially been revealed.
From Acura’s video teaser, a few clues have been shown that reveal how this model has been enhanced cosmetically, with additions like a matte silver paint job, Type S badges, carbon fiber accents, a numbered plaque, and a red engine cover that’s reminiscent of Honda’s Type R performance line. Automotive fans will have to wait until August 12 for the full reveal from Acura.
