Abarth has officially introduced the new Abarth 600e, marking its most powerful model to date and the next step in the brand’s electrification strategy. The 600e blends track-tested performance with daily usability, designed to bring the thrill of Abarth’s motorsport heritage to the electric era.
At the heart of the 600e is an electric motor, delivering 280 hp in the top-tier Scorpionissima model, which accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 5.9 seconds. Offered as a more accessible variant is the standard 600e, which comes in at 240 hp, with both versions featuring a maximum speed of 124 mph and up to 207 miles of range on the WLTP cycle.
The 600e boasts a JTEKT Torsen mechanical limited-slip differential for improved handling, coupled with high-performance Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires and Alcon brakes. These features, tested rigorously on Formula E circuits, embody Abarth’s commitment to high performance and reliability.
Notably, the Scorpionissima will be limited to 1,949 examples, a nod to Abarth’s founding year and offered in distinctive Acid Green and Hypnotic Purple hues. Enhanced with Level 2 Assisted Driving and advanced ADAS features, both models aim to prioritize safety without compromising the sport-focused experience.
Starting at £36,975 GBP ($48,000 USD) in the UK, the New Abarth 600e opens for orders in mid-November, with details on a broader global release not yet announced at the time of writing.
