Japanese DJ, producer, and Bape founder Nigo has tapped A$AP Rocky for his new song “Arya.” It’s from I Know Nigo, his first solo album in nearly two decades. Watch the video for “Arya” below.
Nigo is the founder of A Bathing Ape (aka Bape) and also the hip-hop group Teriyaki Boyz. His new album is coming out on March 25 via Victor Victor Worldwide, according to The New York Times. On Instagram, Nigo has said that his record features Rocky, Tyler, the Creator, Pharrell, Kid Cudi, Lil Uzi Vert, Pusha T, Fam-Lay, Teriyaki Boyz, and more.
A$AP Rocky’s most recent album, Testing, came out in 2018. Since then, the rapper has been working on a follow-up album called All Smiles that allegedly features a collaboration with Morrissey. Last year, A$AP Rocky released several new songs—including “Sandman,” the Slowthai collaboration “Mazza,” and “Lane Switcha”—and brought his classic LP Live. Love. A$AP to streaming services for the first time.
