After announcing he’d be dropping the A$AP from his name back in 2021 upon signing to Roc Nation, Ferg has done the deed – and returned to the scene. While his status in A$AP Mob remains unconfirmed, the rapper dropped off a new cut and visual dubbed “MDMX” on his YouTube channel.
Solely available on YouTube, the heavy-hitting offering is classic, old-school Ferg.
“Flex, jets (Yeah) / Hummers, Lex’ (B*tch) / Rolex, more sex (Yeah) / Five-hundred (B*tch) on baguettes (Yeah) / I feel myself like I’m on X,” he asserts on the chorus.
Ferg linked up with A$AP Rocky just last week, with the two taking to Instagram Live to preview new music. The track the two shared on Live is expected, albeit unconfirmed, to appear on Rocky’s imminent Don’t Be Dumb.
At the time of writing, Ferg’s “MDMX” has not yet made its way over to streaming services and remains exclusive to YouTube and SoundCloud. Stream the visual in the gallery above and stay tuned to Hypebeast for more updates on Ferg’s new music.
