A24 films will now exclusively stream on Max as part of the independent entertainment company’s multiyear pay-1 US output deal with Warner Bros. Discovery.
A press release confirmed that some of the new films covered in the agreement are Sofia Coppola’s Priscilla starring Jacob Elordi and Cailee Spaeny, Kristoffer Borgli’s Dream Scenario with Nicolas Cage and Sean Durkin’s The Iron Claw, which stars Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White. Other newer releases include Dicks: The Musical, The Zone of Interest, Stop Making Sense (2023), Love Lies Bleeding and Civil War. Between the current and new catalog of A24 titles, subscribers will be able to stream more than 100 films, including beloved movies like Everything Everywhere All at Once, Uncut Gems, The Whale, Past Lives and more.
“Continuing our relationship with A24 to bring award-winning movies alongside recent fan-favorites to subscribers adds incredible value to the HBO and Max value proposition,” said Royce Battleman, EVP, Content Acquisitions, Warner Bros. Discovery. “The diverse range of stories that come from the A24 pipeline make this partnership so impactful for our audience.”
Priscilla premiered in US theaters in late October while The Iron Claw is set to make its premiere in late December.
