Nigerian singer Omah Lay speaks up from police custody in Uganda.
Earlier we brought you a report that ‘Bad Influence’ crooner Omah Lay was arrested by Katwe Police in Uganda. It was gathered that the concert he performed at was not authorised by the government.
He was arrested alongside the venue manager and events manager.
Also Nigerian songstress Tems was also picked up by the police.
While Nigerians continue to call for his release Omah Lay has spoken up from police custody. In a few tweets he admitted that he was indeed arrested by he Ugandan police because the show he performed at last night.
He also told fans ‘Everything would be fine’.
