Raving Nigerian music star Omah Lay has been arrested for performing in Uganda.
News making the rounds is that the Ugandan Police have arrested Omah Lay for breaching rules against performing at social gatherings in Uganda. The arrest was effected by the Katwe Police as reported.
The Venue manager, Events Manager were also taken into custody by the police.
Omah Lay’s arrest came shortly after Ugandan artistes protested that they could not hold events and perform in their country while Nigerian artistes flew in and performed.
At the moment, there is no word from Omah Lay’s management on the incident. More details coming soon.
