The MOBO Awards returned to celebrate music of Black origin on Wednesday, 9 Dec. at Exhibition London after a long three-year hiatus. Hosted by Maya Jama and Chunkz, Love and Compromise singer Mahalia took home most of the awards of the night, including Best Female Act and Best R&B/Soul Act — but it was the sexy outfits on the red carpet that we can’t stop thinking about.
First things first — Leomie Anderson. The model graced the red carpet in a very revealing Jean Paul Gaultier sheer jumpsuit with autumnal leaves embroidered over Anderson’s intimate areas. Jourdan Dunn also brought the fire with a leopard-print, halter-neck, ’50s-inspired pin-up dress by Alaïa — so chic! Maya Jama went for a black leotard and chain-mail skirt by David Koma. Our favourite look of the night, from Neelam Gill, was a black asymmetrical mini dress designed by Georges Hobeika.
Ahead, a closer look at the most sultry Brits at the 2020 MOBO Awards.
