Their eponymous debut album, which scored best urban music album at the 2006 Latin Grammys, is a blend of hip-hop and reggaetón that introduced the world to the head-turning Puerto Rican duo comprised of René Perez Joglar and Eduardo Cabra.
Calle 13 debuted and peaked at No. 6 on Billboard‘s Top Latin Albums chart (dated Dec. 17, 2005). It became their first entry on the chart and their longest-charting title at 70 total weeks.
