Bad Bunny will team with rising reggaeton star (and fellow Puerto Rico native) Jhay Cortez. Bad Bunny performed “I Like It,” his smash collab with Cardi B and J Balvin, on the AMAs two years ago.

These will be the first performances on the show by Megan Thee Stallion and Lil Baby. Lil Baby is set to perform his hit “Emotionally Scarred” live for the first time. The song was the third single from his sophomore album My Turn, which has logged five weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. (Only Taylor Swift’s folklore has logged more weeks at No. 1 in 2020.)

It’s fitting that the AMAs are highlighting performances by Latin and rap/hip-hop stars. The AMAs this year are increasing their number of Latin categories from one to four and the number of rap/hip-hop categories from three to four.

The AMAs, which debuted in 1974, bills itself as the world’s largest fan-voted awards show. Taraji P. Henson is set to host this year’s show, which will broadcast live from The Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles for the 14th consecutive year.

The show is set to air Sunday Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC. It will reportedly be seen in more than 200 countries and territories around the world.

The 2020 American Music Awards is produced by dick clark productions. Amy Thurlow, Barry Adelman, Mark Bracco and Linda Gierahn are executive producers. Larry Klein is producer.

Nominations are based on key fan interactions, including streaming, album and digital song sales, radio airplay and social activity. These measurements are tracked by Billboard and its data partners MRC Data and Next Big Sound, and reflect the time period of Sept. 27, 2019, through Sept. 24, 2020.

Voting is now open for all AMA categories.
