Scheduled to perform during the Baltimore Ravens versus Houston Texans game in Queen B’s hometown, HTX.
Just ahead of the big halftime show, the 32-time Grammy Award winning artist posted a final teaser in anticipation of the performance. Spoofing the Netflix glitch that recently angered fans during the live Jake Paul v. Mike Tyson fight, the artist’s teaser features herself on the football field playing the banjo to the tune of her hit single “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Just before she stops to take off her sunglasses, Netflix’s infamous buffer signal plays across her face, however the Beyoncé is heard playfully chuckling and the video resumes, with Beyoncé winking at the camera with a grin. Posting to her socials, Beyoncé writes, “I’m sending you big joy and love on this Cowboy Christmas Eve. I’ll see y’all tomorrow, in my city HTX.”
Spreading the holiday joy with Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé’s halftime show is a highly anticipated football Christmas event. Two games will be broadcasted live on Netflix, with the second being the Kansas City Chiefs versus the Pittsburgh Steelers. In a previous trailer for the halftime show from Beyoncé, she introduced “A COWBOY CARTER CHRISTMAS” with a lit up cactus against a snowy background.
