Rapper BDifferent recently chatted with Hip-Hop Wired about his new project, I’m Different, which features artists like NoCap and OMB Peezy. The album mixes BDifferent’s unique style with the fresh sounds of his collaborators, bringing a dope blend of pain and motivation to his music.
In the interview, BDifferent also talked about growing up with his younger brother, NBA star Anthony Edwards from the Minnesota Timberwolves. He shared how they were super close as kids, and even though Anthony made it big in basketball, BDifferent followed his path in music. He credited their shared experiences for pushing them both to work hard and chase their dreams.
BDifferent also dropped some knowledge on the importance of self-marketing. He said no matter what you do—whether it’s music, sports, or anything else—you’ve got to build your personal brand and promote yourself. He emphasized that controlling your own story and standing out is key to making it in today’s world. With his new album and big plans for his future, BDifferent is ready to make his mark in music and beyond. Jokingly, BDifferent also addressed all the craz conspiracy theories on him and his brother Anthony Edwards father being “Michael Jordan”. Different laughed it off and said, “It’s really crazy because even for me looking at it, I’m like hol’ up, he do like a little like Michael Jordan”
